  When I was a Jdub I thought the 'Quick Builds' (now 'Safe Builds') were really impressive and showed everyone that we had Jehovahs blessing.
  
  I wished that I was good in construction so that I could help out - but alas I couldn't even put a shelf up, let alone straight!
  
  But I did manage to get on the QuickBuild team - as the official photographer!
  
  Shame I haven't got the photo's now or I'd post them.
  
  The sad thing is that I thought I had a really important job!

  finland has made history by winning eurovision 2006 song contest.

  band was lordi and song hard rock hallelujah .

  thats fun... first time ever that finland has won a singing contest.

  I don' think the country with the best songwriters or musicians won did they?
  
  But warm congratulations to Finland - it really is EuroVISION isn't it?
  
  Not exactly attractive but certainly different - well done!

  Absolutely no idea as to how you can call Israel European.
  
  Europe thinks it's a superpower now doesn't it?
  
  I am trying to work out whether it is the King of the North (Finland etc?) or the King of the South (Spain, Malta etc?).

  My wife works for Clarins - she says that the Finnish entry need some skin products - no wait, they really are beyond help.
  
  What do you mean that isn't really their skin?!
  
  Anyway another Eurovision year is over - let's do it all agian next year, hoping that sense will prevail, knowing that it won't.

  Glad Malta have got no points. I used to go there for my job two or three times a year - nice people but really thought they were it and were more advanced than us - whatever.
  
  Breaking news: for the umpteenth year in a row we've given Ireland more points than they gave us.

  You are right Katiekitten - every single year we give Ireland more points than they give us.
  
  We try and appear friendly to them - 'sorry about Northern Ireland but it is ours and always will be but we love you really' but in return they show their true colours.
  
  I actually think that we are not really part of Europe so no wonder we don't win!
  
  However we do produce the best rock and pop music in the whole world don't you agree?
